Reminders
Write the reminder in the note itself, in the words you'd have used anyway.
Type /remind on a line and say when, in plain words: tomorrow at 9,
next Tuesday, in two hours. The line becomes a reminder attached to that
note.

The When box takes the same plain words. The date and time underneath follow what you type, so you can see what it understood before you set it.
Where it arrives
Always by email, to your account address unless you give another one. Turn notifications on for a phone or a computer and new reminders arrive there too, so you get both. Clicking a notification opens the note it came from.
Reminders in the rail lists everything outstanding, and what's already been and gone.
Changing or clearing one
Click the reminder in the note to change the time. Delete the line to clear it. Putting the note in the trash puts its reminders to sleep: they stop arriving, they stay in the list marked as waiting, and they come back if you restore the note. Emptying the trash is what removes them for good.
If notifications never arrive
Notifications need permission from the browser. On an iPhone or iPad, Scratchpad has to be on the Home Screen first. Settings → Reminders tells you which of those is missing.
